This exciting initiative was part of the Violence Reduction Unit’s strategy for London and worked across seven London boroughs to rollout the IRIS https://irisi.org programme, a well-evaluated model which brings together primary care and specialist third sector agencies to improve responses to women experiencing current or former domestic abuse.
The model works by providing in-house DVA training to general practice teams and a named advocate to whom patients can be referred for support.
